Sterilised and castrated cats are at a higher risk of becoming overweight and developing urinary tract problems. Hill’s has developed Feline Adult Sterilised just for them. The dry food contains tuna as well as magnesium and phosphorus. These minerals support the health of the urinary tract. To reduce the risk of becoming overweight, this diet has reduced energy content. In addition, L-Carnitine and L-Lysine have also been added to the food. These two amino acids increase the conversion of fat to energy, reduce fat storage and promote the maintenance of the muscle mass.
